Black Rock Renovation

The design brief was to refresh our client's magnificent 1930s Tudor style home to create joyful, colourful and meaningful spaces that connects with the surrounding garden and is a pleasure to spend time in.

We were inspired by the features of the traditional house such as the curved arches to the entry foyer, with colours selected to complement a bright red Aga stove and cherished painting in the lounge.

An earthy and rustic material palette comprising Terrazzo, timber veneer and ceramic mosaics were used for texture and warmth, drawing upon the clinker bricks and intricate details of the existing house.
